Teaching and guiding of swiss ski-, snowboard and cross-country ski school Pontresina

For Accidents during class, on trips, examinations and competitions  Snowsports Pontresina shall not be liable. Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
The season tickets (coupons) are not transferable. A refund will be made only when an accident or illness upon presentation of a medical certificate. There will be no refund for unused tickets / coupons.

Basically, our snow sports instructors teach in any weather. Group lessons run from 4 people in the group. If this minimum number of participants is not reached, groups of similar strength will be merged, or the class time will be shortened.

Changes / cancellations to bookings from 2 weeks before arrival will be charged an administration fee of CHF 50 -. Changes / cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start of the reservation will be charged full price. Reservation confirmations are sent through text or/email.

Pontresina Sports is not liable for any agreements that are made in person with a ski instructor.

General terms and conditions of rental

The Services "rental bikes at the station" or " rental and camping/hotel" are  provided by the company Rent a Bike AG in Sursee (hereinafter referred to as Lessor). The rental terms are an integral component of the lease. By signing this Agreement, the Lessee confirms that you have read the rental conditions and accept them unconditionally.

1. Contractual relationship
SBB AG, the licensed transport companies and other partners act as mediators of the service "rented bike at the station" or " rental and camping/hotel" . The contract is between the customer and Rent a Bike AG.

2. Responsibility for the bike
The renter takes over the bike in working order and clean condition . Complaints by the renter must be reported to the rental staff at the time the Bike changes hands.


3. Bike Returns
The renter is obligated to return the vehicle at the end of the agreed rental period in the lease during specified opening times. The rental bike/bikes and all accessory equipment made available, such as child seats, bicycle helmets, etc. must be returned in the perfect condition. In case of loss or damage to the equipment, the renter will be charged.


4. Extension of the rental
An extension of the rental period is only possible with the consent of the Lessor before expiration of the current lease. The Lessor is within their rights to refuse the extention without giving reasons.

 

5. Minimum age for rental
Kids and teenagers under 16 years  must be accompanied by a parent or acting guardian. To children and young people under 16 who are not accompanied by an adult, rental bicycles may only be given with written permission from a parent or guardian.

 

6. Services and Prices
The prices in the current published rental prospectus price list apply.

7. Insurance
Insurance is the responsibility of the renter. The renter confirms a sufficient coverage for the possible risks which the trip brings though the completion of the rental agreement. Ride on all roads and trails at your own risk. The lessor does not accept any liability.

8. Bike Helmet
The use of the free included SUVA Bike helmets is recommended but undertaken on a voluntary basis and at the rentors own risk. The lessor does not accept any liability.

9. Liability of the renter
The renter agrees to use the bike properly and carefully. The renter is fully responsible for all damages arising out of negligence or improper use of the bikes. Use for racing purposes or for uncontrolled riding is prohibited. In case of accident damage, loss, theft or improper treatment of the rental bicycles, the renter is liable for the cost of repair including irreparable damage or loss of the replacement value of the bikes.

10. Defects during the rental period
When defects occur during the lease, the renter can replace his bike at another rental station. If there is no station nearby or no spare bike available, the renter can have the defect repaired at the next bike dealer. The repair costs reciepts may be requested by the lessor.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
This contract is subject to Swiss law. Exclusive jurisdiction is Sursee (LU).
